Providing Financial Assistance to Deserving Individuals

The Mel & KaLori Bailey Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting deserving individuals and entities through financial assistance. Our flagship program, the Mel Bailey Scholarship, is focused on aiding young men and women from the greater Los Angeles area in their post-secondary education endeavors.

We are thrilled to congratulate Jacob Fletcher for receiving the 2025 ‘Today’s Leaguer, Tomorrow’s Leader’ scholarship award from the Mel & KaLori Bailey Foundation! Members of the Kappa League Program within the Los Angeles Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity, Inc. were eligible for this scholarship.


Jacob is a graduating senior at Alta Loma High School, boasting an impressive 4.8 GPA. This fall, he will attend the University of California, Riverside, where he plans to study Biology Pre-Med. His ultimate aspiration is to become a heart surgeon.

Our Foundation is proud to support such a talented young man as he pursues his dreams.
